Our story

If you haven’t heard of Parkway Social… you’ve definitely heard of Parkway Ballroom.

Nestled in the heart of Bronzeville, this iconic space has long been a cultural anchor, once the stage for jazz legends like Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Louis Armstrong. In an era of segregation, Parkway Ballroom stood as a place where Black excellence gathered, celebrated, and thrived.

Parkway Social is a member coworking lounge and social club built for connection, creativity, and cultural exchange. It’s where you can take a meeting in the morning, sip cocktails in the courtyard by sunset, and catch a live artist talk or game night after hours.

That legacy lives on, reimagined for a new generation.
